Nexxus Split End Treatment

Hello everyone!

I've been wanting to write this for a while now just to prevent some of you from making the same purchase mistake that I did. I, having had the goal of long, luscious hair feel into a gimmicky-trap: Nexxus Split End Mender. Now I haven't tried the whole system but I did try the leave in treatment... and yuck. That's all I can use to describe it, but I'll get to that.


First of all, I have to say, the whole system is extremely pricey (I think that the shampoo is about $9 and the conditioner is about $14 - not sure why the conditioner costs soooo much more but that's arbitrary) and absolutely out of my price range but the fact that you need to buy all the parts of the system to see any real change? Pshhh. No, says I. The product that I bought was about the same price as the shampoo - just sayin'.


Okay, let's get into the good stuff... the actual product itself. I like the smell. I think that it smells fresh and clean, which is great. The texture is terrrrrrrrrible emphasis on terrible! It's sticky, greasy, and there's nothing you can really do about it. It sucks. I want to like it so badly. I want it to work but it just doesn't. I find myself re-washing my hair every time I use it also, so that's another thing to think about.


So that's about it. Two big thumbs down. Will not be repurchasing.
